Information we collect in the course of search and advisory work, including professional history, education, compensation context, references, interview notes, and where a client has engaged our leadership analytics service, behavioral and cognitive assessment results. Information from third parties and public sources, including professional networking platforms, company websites, industry publications, and referrals, which we use to identify and evaluate candidates. Information collected automatically when you visit our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described below.

How we use information

To respond to inquiries and proposal requests and to communicate with you. To identify, evaluate, and present candidates for client engagements and to conduct talent mapping and market intelligence work. To administer leadership analytics and assessment services where a client has engaged them. To provide clients with live visibility into the status of their search. To operate, secure, and improve our website. To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for advertising to you.

How we share information

With clients, where you are a candidate in a search or a person providing a reference, we share relevant professional information with the client engaging us for that search, under confidentiality. With service providers who support our operations, including website hosting, form processing, email, applicant and client tracking systems, and assessment platforms, each bound to use the information only on our behalf. With professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants where necessary. Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vandercroft, our clients, or others. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Confidential searches

Where a client designates a search as confidential, information submitted in connection with that search is seen only by the Managing Partner and is handled with corresponding restrictions on internal access and disclosure.

Candidates

If you are a candidate, you may have been identified through public sources, professional networks, or a referral rather than by contacting us directly. We hold professional information about you for the purpose of evaluating fit for current or future leadership opportunities. You may ask us at any time what information we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove you from consideration for future searches, by contacting us at the address below.

Individuals outside the United States
